SEO Tools

All of our tools are designed to help webmasters, website owners and search engine marketers (SEMs) optimize their websites and develop strategies for improving their search engine results pages (SERPs).

PHP-AWS (Amazon Web Services)

PHP-AWS is a collection of PHP classes that let you tap into the power of Amazon's Web Services platform. This is the same codebase we used to build BaseJumpr. It lets us offer our users unlimited storage space and run as many servers as we need in the cloud.

PHP-Growl (Growl Notification Using PHP)

PHP-Growl is a implementation of the Growl notificaion protocol using PHP. It's a simple way to send Growl notifications from your webserver to your local machine.

We've also written a Mint Pepper plugin that notifies you whenever certain events (like new referrals, unique visitors, etc) happen on your site. It's a slick way to stay on top of who is visiting your site.

Snipplr — Code Repository

With Snipplr you can keep all of your frequently used code snippets in one place that's accessible from any computer. You can share your code with other visitors and use what they post, too.

Google AdWords Location Targeting Ad Preview

An enhanced version of Google's Location Targeting. Instead of manually appending search URLs, you can use our simple form instead.

Diggless RSS Feed

We got tired of having to visit Digg's website everytime we wanted to go to a link mentioned in their RSS feed, so we created the Diggless RSS Feed. Our RSS feed is special, because it provides a direct link to the website, bypassing Digg.

EvilAPI

EvilAPI is a drop-in replacement for Google’s SOAP Search API which Google discontinued on December 5th, 2006. Sitening is offering EvilAPI as a free service. All source code is release under the MIT License.

EvilRSS

EvilRSS will return Google search results to you via RSS. It’s an incredibly useful feature that Google should have built themselves. Both Yahoo! and MSN offer feeds, and Google even offers one for their Blog Search.

MP3 Search

Use this form to find freely available MP3s (& M4As) via Google. You can search for songs, audiobooks and speeches.

HTML Stripper

The HTML Stripper is a script which works with BBEdit, TextWrangler, or TextMate that strips out unnecessary HTML and improper characters created by programs like Word and Pages.

WWW::Google::News

A Perl module for use with Google News. Scott took over maintenance of the module for a project we're developing.

Unicode UTF-8 Encoding

We needed a UTF-8 character encoding reference for special case characters, like trademark, registered, and copyright symbols, so we created our own. Bookmark it if you find it useful — we sure do.
